Idea Attribution – or lack of

Over the last few months I’ve noticed a very interesting pattern. I share ideas or make suggestions and others turn around and share the ideas acting as if they had the idea. Most of the time I don’t mind this because it is about what is right and not who is right. It is a compliment to see my ideas in action. But, isn’t it a bit unnerving when you tell someone your idea and then a week later they turn around and present it back to you as their idea and their plan to act on it?
