Re-org of the re-org

I really think it is a useless cause. Sometimes I just have to face the fact even though I wish it could change.

We are now re-orging the re-org and all ideas get more polluted by the minute. Yes, there are certain things that you remember through the process of analyzing anything that forces you to change a design, but this should not be a daily occurence.

I have no idea what our department will end up looking like, but I do know this – I’m beginning to see that I am really not very excited about having a roll in it. Everytime I do get excited about it – the progress that had brought on the excitement is typically thwarted or reversed.

If it wasn’t such a bad economy, I would be off in my own start-up right now, but I’m not ready to give up the 401K and benefits just yet.
