In the past month I’ve had some interesting options at work. There have been two instances so far where I’ve been asked to create a new position for myself. Interesting. I have already stated that I’m not interested in doing my current role going forward and so it’s nice to know that people are thinking of ways to try to keep my employed at my organization.
Part of me would like to move on, earn more money and be in a different environment. However, we are delving into some web 2.0 technologies that I’m interested in and would be able to get a lot of experience quickly in a stable environment.
Hmmm. Maybe this feeling of “sit still” is merited. I will stick it out and see what happens.
