Kudos from a non-boss senior leadership person

So, I wrote something up for one of the directors today to help him define some goals for a project.

He responded, after I had talked to him in person, with this email that was copied to all the leadership in our group.

This is what makes people want to work harder for some people. It's these little things.

THANKS xxxxxxxxxx!

Hopefully these words will help xxxxxx generate their research proposal.  Before the students start their program, I need to meet with the 2 faculty advisors and other Directors to discuss how we can best use the students to help us.

Since you are a graduate of that program, I'll be seeking your opinions/ideas as we initiate this process.  I know you are busy, but you have an open invitation to our planning sessions and meetings.
