I need a mentor. Someone who sees my talents and skills and wants to help me grow. This needs to be someone who has accomplished much and isn’t intimidated by mentoring someone else and is fine if the “student moves ahead of the teacher.”
In saying this, I’m not saying that I’m smart. I’m just saying it would be refreshing to have someone that is completely supportive of me.
I’m trying to be this to some people that I work with, but not getting a lot of good feedback and support myself makes it really difficult to provide it to those that semi-report to me.
I’ll start looking.
