Well, yet another personal deflation experience to report.
My boss asked me to follow up on a task, which I did, but apparently not fast enough. We talked in the morning, I triggered the email and awaited a response.
In the meantime, my boss talked to one of the staff of the on site contractors for a status. She went to her program manager to bring up the random, out of process, task request …and of course her boss told me about it.
Haven’t they figured out a couple of things after all this time? Why do they go around and create more tasks with the wrong people?
It is so degrading in this case because it is going through the same on site contractors that have gained extra privileges through out of office visits at the bar and closed door office discussions.
Deflation arrives once again…
