Coddling the Non-Performer

Well, here we are dealing with performance issues again. I will have MANY entries soon, but I’m kind of saving them up until the messiness blows over and no one has anything to find on the Internet.

Yesterday I saw myself trying to say “that’s ok” and “oh, no problem” to a low performer that just plain doesn’t have the skillsets to do the job. Oh, and along with this they have a good attitude and are nice.

It gave me a glimpse into why we often see ourselves coddling the non-performer and just leave out high performers out to dry.

On the other hand, we can’t have people that come in thinking they are going to change the world.

My goal is to just be fair – so all can understand my treatment of others and actions.
