Irrelevant Weakness -a leader’s job

Lately, I’ve put so much thought into the topic of strengths and weaknesses that I thought my ideas were plastered all over this blog.

But, not so…

What triggered it was reading this quote from Peter Drucker a few months ago:

“The task of leadership is to create an alignment of strengths in ways that make weaknesses irrelevant.”

I found it again on the blog listed below with his commentary.

Wouldn’t it be great if we remembered this simple concept in our marriages, family relationships, friendships, work teams, etc.?

I’m applying the concept slowly and it seriously works. And, why wouldn’t it? Don’t you feel good when people are constantly helping you build up your interests and strengths and not pointing out your flaws and weaknesses?
